Find Out What OCD Southern California, and Other Official Affiliates of the International OCD Foundation, Are Working On For Their Local Communities!

OCD Southern California is an official affiliate of the International OCD Foundation (IOCDF). We are one of nearly 30 affiliates in the United States with more currently forming! Affiliates carry out the mission of the International OCD Foundation through programs at the local community level. Each of the affiliates are non-profit organizations that are run entirely by dedicated volunteers.

Below is a recent IOCDF town hall featuring some of the board members of different affiliates discussing the future events and plans of their respective affiliates. Chris Trondsen, OCD So Cal’s Vice President, is featured in the town hall. Watch to learn what is next for OCD Southern California!

The International OCD Foundation Releases a New PSA To Educate The Public On Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder!

OCD is not an adjective — it’s a serious disorder. And while we’re all feeling a heightened level of anxiety at this time, it does not mean that we all have OCD, or that having OCD could ever be a good thing. Here’s what the OCD community wants you to know about “Real OCD” during the COVID-19 pandemic. Learn more about “Real OCD” at iocdf.org/about-ocd.

If the “Real OCD” PSA does not appear on your screen, watch by clicking this link:
https://youtu.be/aLJN-rSgCqM

Please help the IOCDF spread this message by sharing the “Real OCD” PSA with friends, family, and others. This way they can be educated on what OCD actually is–and what it is not. This will help eliminate the stigma around this disorder and help prevent people from claiming they are “sooo OCD.”
