It is officially OCD Awareness Week! Starting Sunday, October 9th until Saturday, October 15th, OCD Awareness Week is dedicated to spreading education and awareness about OCD and related disorders to the public. It is done in effort to help stamp out mental health stigma!
The theme for this year’s OCD Awareness Week is “The Road to Reclaiming Your Life!” Head over to https://iocdf.org/calendar/ to learn about what events are happening this week so that you can join in on the fun! Many of the events are virtual, so anyone from anywhere can join. Many of these events are led by IOCDF Advocates — individuals with OCD who are doing much better and advocate on behalf of the OCD community!
Lastly, join OCD SoCal for our awareness week event on Saturday, October 15th from 11am – 1pm PST. More information can be found on our website or on the International OCD Foundation’s calendar: https://iocdf.org/calendar/. Email: info@ocdsocal.org if you would like to get the link to our free, virtual awareness week event happening on Saturday, October 15th at 11am PST. Hope to see you there!
