Road to Recovery Tour: The ABCs of Overcoming OCD

Jonathan Grayson, PhD will give a presentation on overcoming OCD and succeeding in treatment. This presentation will then be followed by an IOCDF spokesperson panel discussion. Kid- and family-friendly activities will be run concurrently to the programming.

Road to Recovery Tour: IOCDF Spokesperson Presentation and Q&A

Join the IOCDF Spokespeople — Elizabeth McIngvale, PhD, Jeff Bell, and Ethan S. Smith — on the 2016 Road to Recovery Tour as they travel to 5 cities across the US to raise awareness and fight stigma. Sponsored by the Peace of Mind Foundation, OCD Southern California, and the IOCDF, this event will feature a presentation by the IOCDF spokespeople, a Town Hall Q&A session, followed by lunch.

Genetics play a role in OCD! You can enroll in genetics research during the event.  Participation involves study questionnaire completion, a short interview, and a small blood donation (4-5 teaspoons). Compensation provided.

 WHO:  Anyone aged 7 or older with OCD or a Related Disorder (hair pulling, body dysmorphic disorder, skin picking, or hoarding)

 EARLY ENROLLMENT:  We encourage you to pre-enroll in the study by completing questionnaires at: keck.usc.edu/gpc-ocd

 

* Research funded by the National Institute of Mental Health. 

Approved by USC HS-IRB 10-00299.
