A Faith-Based, Virtual Support Group For Spouses With A Loved One Who Has A Mental Health Condition.

https://mentalhealthstrong.com/support-groups/

Mental Health Strong is excited to announce that starting July 2020, they will be hosting an online Share and Support Group on the first Tuesday night of every month. This group will primarily be for spouses walking alongside loved one(s) with mental health and/or addiction challenge(s), and will leverage the eight steps outlined in the award-winning book Mental Health Strong that offers faith-based, practical tips and real-life examples.

This support group is peer run by a wife of an individual with diagnosed mental health disorders. This group is for you regardless of whether or not your spouse has been formally diagnosed, as long as there are mental health challenges (such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, OCD, PTSD, etc.) or addictions (such as alcohol, drugs, sex, video gaming, food, spending, hoarding, etc.) that are impacting the marriage relationship.

The agenda during each meeting will be as follows:

  • Introduction
  • Review of the eight MH Strong Steps
  • Share and Support
  • Prayer

We hope you will join us at https://www.meetup.com/Mental-Health-Strong
